Vans proudly welcome Jason Dill back to the team with five days of coverage for Vans Rider’s Week. Today’s episode compiles eighteen years of Dill’s interviews from U.S. skate magazines that serves as a timeline of Jason’s contributions to skating. Tomorrow you’ll be able to read Jason’s thoughts on his two dozen Alien Workshop ads from over the years.
Wednesday and Thursday will feature Dill versions of Acosta’s Angles and Adventures With Chris. The week wraps up on Friday with an in-depth interview where Jason discusses his real name, addiction, recovery and his upcoming Vans video part. Don’t miss a day.
Second Nature is a 20-minute documentary by Yves Marchon that follows Elements Europe’s team rider and up-and-coming landscape architect, Janne Saario of Finland. Still connected to the landscapes of his childhood, this brilliant and skilled Finish skateboarder has designed several not-so-typical skateparks drawing upon the mixed use of sustainable materials and reclaimed objects within natural environments. Janne is creatively churning out functional skate facilities for today’s generation and those to come.
Second Nature is truly one of those “must see” skateboarding related films. Take the time to absorb it and become inspired. If anything, you’ll be proud to have a connection to skateboarding, its creativity, and its culture.
